Carmen Longo, our PhD student at the BMB@UniVR group, has been awarded the prestigious Fondo Gianesini award to spend one year at UCL, at the Institute of Ophtlamologyn in the group headed by Prof. Mike Ceetham. Congratulations Carmen!!!
Prof. Karl-Wilhelm Koch, form the University of Oldenburg in Germany is visiting the BMB@UniVR group for a month, starting June 2023. Scientific and teaching collaborations will be the subject of his stay. We look forward to your visit, Karl!!!
Rieke Wellpott, a M.Sc. student from the University of Oldenburg in Germany is visiting the BMB@UniVR group starting April 2023, to work on the characterization of human recoverin. Welcome Rieke!!!
João Paulo De Camargo, a PhD student in Molecular Human Genetics from the Universidade Federal Do Paraná in Brazil is visiting the BMB@UniVR group starting October 2022, to work on the characterization of a novel GCAP1 variant associated with a newly identified retinal disease. Welcome João!!!
