Curriculum

I am a computational biologist fascinated by the molecular aspects of the biological world.I received my bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Verona, here I first met Professor Dell’Orco and joined his group for my thesis project. During my thesis I used several biophysical techniques, such as circular dichroism and surface plasmon resonance, to characterize the interaction between GCAP1 and CaF2 nanoparticles.

I later moved to University of Trento where I obtained a master's degree in Quantitative and Computational Biology. During my master studies I focused on Computational Biophysics and joined Professor Lattanzi’s group for the final thesis project. My master's thesis, co-supervised by Prof. Dell’Orco, aimed at studying a protein-membrane system via extensive all-atoms molecular dynamics simulations and protein structure network analyses.

Hopefully, my passion for the bio-molecular world coupled with my interest in computer science will help me in unraveling new fascinating biological mysteries.
